Bookstore user account and password
You can register for Rakennustieto Bookstore at: Register | Rakennustieto | Bookstore. If you have already registered, you can log in with your existing user account. Please note that Rakennustieto services and the bookstore have separate accounts.
I ordered an e-book and received a link to the e-bookshelf, but now the site asks me to log in and I do not have a user account. What should I do/register?
If the site asks you to log in directly, it is likely that you already have an account with Rakennustieto Bookstore. In that case, please request a password reset by entering your email address, and you will receive a link to reset your password from Storia Oy.
Resetting the bookstore user account password
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a password reset using the following form: Log in | Rakennustieto | Bookstore. The form will send a link to your email through which you can set a new password.
Ordering books on company invoice
Ordering books under a company and paying by invoice is also possible in the bookstore. In the shopping cart change the Customer type to Company, which will allow you to enter the company’s billing details.
What is the delivery time for books?
Items in stock are dispatched within 1–3 working days from the order. Delivery times for products not in stock vary depending on product availability.
The delivery time for products ordered within Europe is 3–7 working days in addition to the standard delivery time, and 6–14 working days for deliveries outside Europe.
How do I return a book I have purchased?
Bookstore customers have the right under consumer protection law to cancel their order or part of it within fourteen (14) days of receiving the product.
The right of cancellation for e-book orders is limited: e-books (PDF files) are non-returnable. After ordering, the product cannot be returned or exchanged.

An unused/product suitable for resale must be returned together with the return form provided with the order.
