About the digital bookcase
What is the digital bookcase?
The digital bookcase is a licence-based online service that brings together several digital books on the construction industry in themed collections, or bookcases. It provides users with an easy and flexible way to access up-to-date information produced by experts anywhere and at any time. Each bookcase contains four permanent and two annually changing digital books.
What types of bookcases are available?
There are currently two bookcases: the Contracting and legal matters bookcase and the Guidelines bookcase.

You can log in to the digital bookcase either directly via the digital bookcase service – by selecting Log in – or via the rakennustieto.fi website – by selecting Log in to services.

My digital books bookcase contains the digital books for which the user has a valid licence.

Themed collections contain the digital books included in the relevant bookcases.
Digital books can be read in a browser on both computers and mobile devices and their use requires an internet connection.
Inside the digital books, you can search, add notes, highlight and easily navigate to the desired content using the table of contents or links.

Licences and access rights
How can I access the digital bookcase?
You can make a purchase in Rakennustieto’s licence shop or directly in the digital bookcase. Each individual digital book and bookcase collection has its own order button. The licence is activated for use quickly.

How much do the bookcases cost?
The prices of the bookcases vary by theme. You can find the latest licence options and prices in our licence shop.

Can digital books be purchased individually?
Yes, Rakennustieto’s digital books can also be purchased individually.
Rakennustieto offers digital books with both personal licences and organisation licences. A personal licence means that only one user has the right to use the digital book in question.
