Students may experience problems using Rakennustieto licences if they have accidentally created a personal account in the service. In such cases, SSO login also directs to this account, and the organisation’s licences are not correctly assigned to the user. This guide explains how to log in correctly, what mistakes to avoid, and what to do if a personal account has already been created.
Why can’t the student use the licences even though the login seems successful?
The problem is often caused by the student accidentally creating a personal account in the Rakennustieto service. In this case, SSO login directs the user to this account, and the organisation’s licences are not activated. As a result, for example, RT cards do not open.
Here is how to ensure correct login:
-
Always use the correct SSO login link
- Log in to the Rakennustieto service with your organisation’s credentials from the library or via a direct link provided by your teacher.
