If a project does not appear in the YL tool, the reason is usually related to access rights or the project’s status. The most common situations and how to handle them are described below.
1. The project manager invites users to the project by email
In the YL tool, the project manager is responsible for inviting users to the project. A user cannot log in to the project without an invitation; access is always based on a personal invitation.
You log in to the project using the invitation link received by email. Once the invitation has been sent:
- the user receives an email containing the link to the project
- they log in according to the instructions in the invitation
2. The project may be archived
Another common reason why the project is not visible is that the project has been archived. Archiving means that the project is no longer actively in use, but its information is retained in the system.
An archived project:
- does not appear in the list of active projects
- cannot be edited normally
- can only be found among the archived projects
If you suspect that the project has been archived, you can:
- check the archived projects (if you have the necessary permissions)
or contact the project manager, who can restore the project to active status if necessary
