Who can invite users to a project?
A project manager can invite users to a project. The project manager is responsible for managing the project in the YL tool and manages the project permissions.
Other users, such as invited users, cannot invite new people to the project.
What permissions does an invited user receive?
An invited user receives read access to the project. This means that the invited user can view the project information but cannot edit the project content or manage the settings. An invited user does not need a separate licence.
How do you invite a user to a project?
You can invite a user from within the project as follows:
- Open the relevant project in the YL tool.
- Go to the project user management.
- Add the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Send the invitation.

The invited user receives an invitation by email, through which they can access and view the project.
When does a user need a licence?
A licence is only needed if the user acts as the project manager in the project. Simply being invited to a project does not require a licence.
